Two of our favourite brands have just launched their hotly anticipated new maternity collections. Susan Lazar, the designer behind the gorgeous Egg Baby clothing range has just announced the launch of her new maternity range and Australian designers Ramalama, creators of luxe leather bags that don't scream diaper bag, have released their Organic Maternity Essentials range.
Egg Maternity's design philosophy is simple yet sophisticated, comfortable and chic and their new collection of basic pieces with a modern twist promises clothes that mamas will love to wear - layered separates of supple jersey in a beautiful palette of earth tones - and because Egg Maternity doesn't look like typical maternity wear, they can be worn after baby arrives. The collection is due in stores spring 2009.
Ramalama's Organic Maternity Essentials range features a soft blend of organic cotton and elastane (for just the right amount of stretch) with bamboo for its silk like feel. And in keeping with Ramalama's eco approach the wrap dresses, tees and singlets have all been dyed with gentle organic dyes.
